TUSHY Electric Bidet
Role
Project Lead + Senior Industrial Designer
Overview
Developed TUSHY’s first electric bidet, designed to offer a luxury spa-like experience at an accessible price point
The brief required integrating advanced features—heated seat, oscillating spray, and warm air dry—while maintaining a friendly, minimalist design language
Impact
Launched the company’s first electric bidet, expanding the brand into a higher-end category
Drove a 3x increase in AOV for returning customers upgrading from non-electric models
Established new manufacturing and compliance workflows for heated and electronic components
Improved user satisfaction by addressing key pain points: spray precision, drying effectiveness, and remote usability
Built alignment across design, engineering, and sourcing teams to meet aggressive launch timelines and cost targets
Looking Back
While the product hit its core goals, there are two areas I would evolve:
Remote Design (See next project): I’d push for an even more focused, streamlined remote control from the outset and simplify DFM further
Testing Environments: I would advocate for earlier-stage install and use testing in cramped, imperfect bathrooms — closer to real-life conditions
